Traveling has a great educative value. It is a part and parcel of education. It teaches a man better than books. Bookish knowledge is incomplete. Traveling completes it. Traveling enables human being to see things with his won eyes. It turns knowledge into personal experience. A traveler can observe for himself the manners and customs, socio-economic and religious system, trade and commerce of the different nations of the world. Many famous person said that, “Go even to distant China to acquire knowledge and experience”. It helps us to learn the language of other country. Tourism Bangladesh : Foy's Lake, Chiitagong

Foy’s Lake is a famous place in Chittagong. It is situated in the Pahartoli. It is so beautiful place for all. This is a amusement park. It is especially made for the children. There are many facilities for all. Many foreign ride and amusement tools, water lake, restaurant, resting area, hotel etc. Many people visit here with there family. It is huge area with all facility. To entrance visitors have to pay 250 taka (USD 3.5) each one. If you want to visit with family there is a another opportunity to family trip. Sometimes the authority of Foy’s Lake arrange live concert for there visitors occasionally. For that visitors have to pay more than they paid to entrance. But Every visitors get happiness to visit Foy’s Lake though it is so costly. There is a place where people enjoy their picnic. But Foy’s lake authority give some condition for that. In our Chittagong there is no amusement park like Foy’s Lake. It is a place of joy.

Tourism Bangladesh : Shat Gombuj Mosque

During the last Autumn vacation, I got such an opportunity. We, some friends, decided to visit Bagerhat, a great historical place. We went to Gabtoli Bus Stand. There we got into a Khulna bound bus. It took seven hours to reach Khulna. From thee we went to Bagerhat by bus which took three hours. We stayed there one day. Bagerhat is a great historical place. So we saw many things related to history. We saw the Mazar of Khan Zahan Ali, the famous Shat Gombuj Mosque which is a World Heritage site, the Dighi of Khan Zahan Ali, the Ghora Dighi and many other things. Actually whatever I saw there I was charmed. But the thing impressed me much is the Shat Gombuj Mosque. We returned to Dhaka the next day but the memory still haunts me.

Tourism Bangladesh : Teknaf, Cox's Bazar

Teknaf is situated in Cox’s Bazar Dist. It is so near from Myanmar. It is well known place for many historical place. Many Buddhist Temple are situated here. Many Myanmar people is living here now. But some days ago it is a region of them. For some reason they have to migrant in Myanmar. Saint Martin is so near from Teknaf. In Teknaf there is a Sea Beach. It is so beautiful and calm place. Many visitors always visit this area everyday. It is place of picnic also. Everyday many visitors arranged picnic there. It is about 200km from Cox’s Bazar. The communication is so good from Cox’s Bazar. In the middle of road everybody enjoy another sea beach named Inani. Many visitors relax here in the middle road of teknaf. Teknaf sea is especially renowned for fish. Every year many amount of fish export from teknaf through the world. Fish like Poa, Pron, Dry fish etc is so famous. Many Buddhist Temple is situated there. Every visitors can visit this Buddhist Temple beside Sea Beach and other place. Everyone should visit there once a time in life.

Bandarban is place which is situated in Chittagong Dist. It is so easy to reach Bandarban in anywhere in Bangladesh. Bandarban is famous for many reason. It is actually a hill area. Many hill is situated here. Meghla is one of them. Many visitors visit here everyday. It is a good picnic spot also. Beside of all it achieve a new identity. The Bandarban Jadi Buddhist Temple is the other identity of Bandarban now. The Jadi Buddhist Temple is so nice so many visitors go to Bandarban for visit it. And many visitors do not go anywhere in Bandarban if they observe it. It is situated on the top of the hill. If anyone want to see that they have to go there in the top the hill through step by step. Visitors capture photo inform of it. This temple made by Gold. So many people named it Gold Temple. Everybody like it.

The Sundarbans is the largesh mangrove forest in the world. It has been declared the 52^nd World Heritage Site in the world. The Sundarban is also an attractive tourist spot. Many people particularly foreigners like to see its natural beauty. It is not only a natural and peaceful atmosphere but also a forest site of seeing the famous Royal Bengal Tiger or the spotted deer or even the estuarine crocodile. It is still renowned for its great variety of wild life. The world heritage sites play an important role in the matter of sight seeing. Tourism and visitors of and from various countries come to visit these heritage sites every year. We are Bangladeshis, are lucky to have some world heritage sites in the country. A World Heritage Site is a place recognized by the international community.

Tourism Bangladesh : The Shatgombuj Mosque

The Shatgombuj Mosque is a 15^th century Islamic edifice situated in the suburbs of Bagerhat, on the edge of the Sundarbans, some 175 km southwest of Dhaka. It is an enormous Moghul architectural site covering a very large area. The mosque is unique. It has sixty parts, which support seventy-seven exquisitely carved domes that have worn away with the passage of time. The mausoleum of the city’s founder, Khan Jahan Ali can be found nearby. With the declaration of the mosque as a World Heritage Site, it is hoped that this beautiful architectural monument will be preserved from further decay.
